Everybody needs a presentation now and then!
Typically, a formal presentation might be offered to get the trustees in the mood at an awayday or strategy weekend. Or perhaps if there might be a specific governance issue that the trustees need to discuss, but don’t know much about yet. What better way to precede the discussion than a presentation that provides them with some background knowledge so that they understand the issues.
Examples of presentations that have been provided in the
past are:
- Impact measurement
- Trustees and Executive Staff – Relationships and the responsibly split
- When it goes wrong – case studies of mistakes made by others
- Vision to objectives
- The Board – good and bad practice
However, we are always open to suggestions. If there is a relevant subject
