Mentoring

It is very common for charities to appoint senior executive staff with little or no experience of running a charity.  They might have been selected because they have a wealth of knowledge in general management or a specific passion for the objects of the charity – but it will take them a while to learn the nuances of managing in the charitable sector. We can help with this; typically, by setting aside a couple of days for one to one discussions and presentations just before, or just after, taking on the role. And then in the months ahead a first point of contact when a little bit of advice or reassurance is needed.
